Azul Linhas Areas inaugurated on Monday, November 16, a new international route connecting the cities of Belo Horizonte (MG) and Orlando (United States). In a statement, the company informs that the flight will be operated three times a week until November 30, with the number of weekly flights going up to five between first and December 13.

From December 14 to February 14, the flight will become daily and, as of February 15, the route will have up to four calls per week. With the new route, Azul becomes the only airline to offer nonstop flights to Orlando from the capital of Minas Gerais.

“We are proud to debut today an unprecedented route in the country. Florida, especially Orlando and its many parks, it is always a good choice for Brazilian tourists, representing a significant demand to the American state,” said, in a statement, the president of Azul, Antonoaldo Neves. “We expect to reap good results with this operation, which will apply to all Minas Gerais state and dozens of other cities in the whole Brazil, marking the company’s breakthrough in the international market.”

Azul highlights that will have two daily flights to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale/ Miami between December and February departing from the Viracopos International Airport in Campinas.
