Embraer informed it had delivered a total of 221 aircrafts in 2015, the largest volume of the last five years, according to the company’s own calculations. Of that number, 101 jets were delivered to the airline market and the remaining 120 were allocated to business aviation. According to a statement delivered to the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM), the company delivered 78 jets in the fourth quarter 2015, 33 in the commercial segment and 45 in the executive. The company claims to have fulfilled delivery estimates disclosed to the market with one extra aircraft than the estimated in the commercial aviation segment.

At the end of December 2015, the portfolio of firm orders totaled US$ 22.5 billion.  Embraer informs that were recorded 1,704 firm orders and 659 options in 2015. Deliveries totaled 1,191 aircrafts and firm order amount comes to 513 units.

According to Embraer, the highlights of the quarter were the signature of a firm order for 19 additional jets E175 by SkyWest, to be operated through a capacity purchase agreement with Delta Air Lines, and the confirmation of two options for additional E175 jets to KLM.
