While different countries of the world faced several difficulties during the covid pandemic, Brazil is one such country that even faced restrictions from other countries. But the country is bringing situations under control, and many such restrictions are getting removed. One such scenario is that many Brazilian airlines are returning back to their usual international routes now.

GOL resumes its flights to Bolivia

After a restriction of about 2 years, GOL Airlines of Brazil is now all set to resume its international air route to Bolivia.

While the airline resumed its flights to many other parts of America such as Orlando, flights to the destination Santa Cruz in Bolivia resumed by the start of May 2022. Now GOL Linhas Aereas will operate four flights per week that will fly to and from the two destinations Sao Paulo in Brazil and Santa Cruz in Bolivia.

These four flights will be operational on the days Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday every week. But the airline also plans to increase the number of plans every week in the coming future. As per the speculations, GOL will add another flight to the four flights per week in the month of August. The fifth flight will be operational every Thursday.

Welcome in Bolivia

The flight of GOL Airlines took off from the Guarulhos International Airport of Sao Paulo in Brazil and landed at Viru Viru International Airport of Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia. The airline has been servicing the passengers through its Boeing 737 flights.

When the first flight reached Viru Viru International Airport, the usual water salute was not conducted to welcome the resuming service of GOL in Bolivia. This was done keeping in mind the safety measures against Covid. In place of offering a physical water salute, the airport authorities organized a virtual welcome through Instagram filters. Also, another reason stated by the authorities was that they wish to save water and spread awareness of saving such natural resources.

Not just GOL, but many other airlines in Brazil are now resuming their international routes. The Brazilian airports are taking special precautions and measures for passengers coming to and from different parts of the country.

The authorities of air travel in Brazil have also assured proper safety to the international passengers and are following all the necessary measures such as checking vaccination documents, and others to offer a convenient experience to all the domestic as well as international passengers.
