Latam Airlines Brazil will start service between Munich, Germany  and Sao Paulo in Brazil in the first half of 2019, subjet to governmental approval. Munich, the capital of the Bavarian region will be the second german destination served by the carrier.

The new route will be the 143th destination for the LATAM group, in 26 countries. In 2017 LATAM started 13 new routes, including the record breaking Santiago-Melbourne.

This year, LATAM is set to launch an additional 17 international flights, including Lima-Sao Jose Costa Rica, Sao Paulo-Rome, and non stop flight Sao Paulo-Boston, and TelAviv in December.
