The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) has authorized the foreign company Norwegian Air UK Limited to operate in Brazil and Rio de Janeiro could be the first destination. Norwegian is a company of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The company intends to operate in the country with regular international air transportation services for passengers, cargo and mail. Norwegian is Europe's third-largest low cost airline, behind Ryanair and Easyjet, and is based in Gatwick, London's second largest airport. The company already operates in North America, Central America, Africa and Asia. Recently, it opened subsidiary in Argentina.
