GOL Airlines reduced its operation in 92% in the second quarter due to the crises that the new corona virus inflicted in the travel sector,  registering a loss of R$1,997 billion. Last year on the same period, the loss registered was R$120 million.

The company says that besides the flights cancellations, the record plunge of Brazilian real against Dollar also affected the results.

The operational result shows  R$897,00 million negative against a positive R$318,9 million in the same quarter in 2019.
