ITA Airlines, owned by Itapemirim Group,  officially announced that will start operating on March 2021 with a fleet of ten Airbus A320.

The company confirms that the A320 are now in Europe and India waiting to be painted yellow and brought to Brazil to start the operations from Sao Paulo-Guarulhos, Galeao and Brasilia. ITA plans to increase the fleet to 50 A320, but still didn’t release any information about the agreement for that.

Itapemirim Group is a bus company launched in Brazil back in 1953 and it currently the largest road passenger transport business in all Latin America. Itapemirim elected the A320 for its Air domestic company ITA instead of Bombardier airplanes.

ITA counts with the support of US$500 million from Emirates investors, and plans to start hiring pilots and flight attendants soon.
