From Airline Network News

LATAM Airlines inaugurated flights between Miami (MIA) and Salvador de Bahia (SSA) on 29 April, with the route being flown on a w-pattern with a Rio de Janeiro Galeão-based 767-300 according to OAG schedules. The oneworld member will operate the 6,251-kilometre route from the US each Sunday, with return services taking place on Mondays. No other carrier currently serves between the US and Brazilian airports. It now means that the Brazilian airline serves seven destinations in Brazil from Miami.
