LATAM Brasil Expands Fortaleza – Lisbon Service in NW25

LATAM Brasil is reinforcing its international network with the expansion of its Fortaleza–Lisbon route during the Northern Winter 2025 season (NW25), offering increased connectivity between Brazil and Europe. Starting in late October 2025, the carrier will boost frequency from three to five weekly nonstop flights between Pinto Martins – Fortaleza International Airport (FOR) and Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS), providing travelers with more options and flexibility during the high-demand winter travel season.

This route is operated using the modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering a comfortable long-haul experience with LATAM’s premium business class and economy service. The expanded schedule reflects LATAM’s confidence in the transatlantic demand between northeastern Brazil and Portugal, a market fueled by both strong cultural ties and growing tourism interest.

Fortaleza serves as a strategic hub in LATAM’s network, offering seamless domestic connections across Brazil, including to cities such as Recife, Salvador, and Brasília. With Lisbon acting as a gateway to broader Europe, the increased capacity is expected to appeal to both leisure and business travelers.

This move also positions LATAM competitively against TAP Air Portugal, which has traditionally dominated the Brazil-Portugal corridor. As LATAM strengthens its transatlantic presence, passengers can expect more competitive fares, convenient schedules, and better overall service.
