It is reported on friday that portugal and Brazil has signed MOU to remove all the restrictions of air transport in both the countries. Both the countries closed a deal to eliminate restrictions for passenger and cargo transport. Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) said.

Both the nations have signed a paper which is going to allow the expansion in the offer of international flights to any destination in both countries, with the possibility of connecting with third countries. The MoU with Portugal is similar to those recently negotiated by Brazil with other European countries such as Britain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Greece, Sweden, Luxembourg and Finland.

Under this agreement, airlines from both nations may operate scheduled services between the two countries and include intermediate points. There is no restriction on the number of flights available or the number of locations served.
