The new route to Rio de Janeiro will operate on Delta’s Boeing 767-300 aircraft. Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin service will be available.

Starting December 16, Delta will be flying nonstop between New York-JFK and Rio Galeão Airport in Brazil. This means that New Yorkers will be able to travel to Brazil very easily. Delta and LATAM have announced a new route that will operate on Delta’s Boeing 767-300 aircraft. This route will feature Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin service.

The joint venture partners are working together to increase flights between the U.S. and Brazil.

Delta Airlines offers daily service between JFK Airport in New York and São Paulo, twice daily service between its Atlanta hub and São Paulo, and seasonal service between Atlanta and Rio de Janeiro. Latam Airlines offers service between Sao Paulo and five U.S. gateways, including New York-JFK, Boston, Orlando, Miami, and starting this summer, Los Angeles.

The most frequent service between New York City and South America is air travel.

Delta and LATAM Airlines are a joint venture, and they offer the most service between JFK and South America. They fly between JFK and São Paulo, Lima, Santiago, Bogota, and Rio de Janeiro. Delta has the largest network in terms of number of destinations served, while LATAM Airlines has the largest network in terms of distance.

The Joint Venture between LATAM and Delta is helping passengers and cargo customers travel more easily and quickly between North and South America. This partnership applies to select markets between the U.S./Canada and South America, delivering customer benefits and faster connections to more than 300 destinations.
