Azul Brazilian Airlines will allow doctors, nurses, therapists, pharmacists and nutritionists that need to travel to work on the effort against the Covid 19, to travel free of charge on Azul flights, paying only the taxes.

The same decision was made by Azul’s competitors LATAM Airlines and GOL Airlines, and is valid for travel from March 23 to April 30, 2020.

Claudia Fernandes, Azul’s communication director declares that “the airline industry has united to support all health professionals that need to travel to care for patients impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

To use the service, the professional must go on the date of travel in one of Azul’s ticket office at least two hours before the flight, and present the proper certification and letter declaring the reason for the trip.
