In the month of July GOL Airlines reopened the airbases in Campinas, Santarem, Uberlandia and Vitoria and increased operations in the main Brazilian airports, Sao Paulo-Guarulhos, Brasilia, Rio-Galeao. This actions helped the Airlines to increase the network to about 200 daily flights.
For the domestic market, this means 114% flight demand and 117% supply growth compared to the month of June.
The occupancy rate however fell to 78,1% compared to 84,7% in July 2019. No international flights operated in the month of July.
During the month of August GOL restarts flights to Campina Grande (Paraiba), Montes Claros (Minas Gerais) departing from Guarulhos, and to Maraba (Para) departing from Brasilia and expects a 90% sustainable operation for the domestic destinations.
