GOL Airlines signed an exclusive deal with CBF (Confederacao Brasileira de Futebol), where for the next four years GOL will fly all delegations that will play in the Brasil Cup (Copa do Brasil), the Brazilian Championship, and also the Brazilian national soccer team on international competitions.
It will be interesting to see those highly paid sportsman flying on GOL, a low cost, no-frills carrier with one-class-only planes, and no long range equipment either.
“GOL is very proud to to transport out soccer athletes”, declared GOL’s president Paulo Kakinoff.
