Itapemirim is starting today a flight departing from Congonhas-Sao Paulo to Galeao-Rio de Janeiro.
At first it will be one daily flight only, departing at 7am towards Rio de Janeiro. After that, the aircraft flies to Brasilia, Recife and follows the same route back to Sao Paulo.
The company’s CEO, Sidnei Piva says that the new route will maintain Itapemirim’s standards, with less seats and more internal space, they will also provide international level inflight service as soon as the pandemic restrictions allow. A free of charge 23 k checked bag, is also part of the package that the company is using to attract clients.
The chosen aircraft for the task is the Airbus A319, counting with 124 seats, 42 on the Ita class, with more legroom.
