LATAM Brasil Airlines flew a total of 602,000 passengers to these three destinations last year.
Last year, Santiago de Chile, Miami, and Lima were the top international destinations for LATAM Brasil, with the most passengers coming from Brazil. LATAM Brasil has connected these three destinations with various flights, making it easier for travelers to get to and from them.

Last year, more than 600,000 passengers flying on LATAM Brasil flights disembarked in Santiago, Miami or Lima. LATAM is a company that transports a lot of people internationally. LATAM said that 35% of all people transported by the company last year were from Latin America.
The number of passengers traveling with the company from Brazil to these three destinations increased fourfold in 2022. Despite the good news that LATAM Brasil is recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, their international traffic figures are not yet back to where they were before the pandemic.
Aline Mafra, LATAM’s Director of Sales and Marketing, says that LATAM’s international airline network plans are based on the three most important international destinations in 2022. She says that LATAM Airlines does not have any other airline that connects Brazil with the rest of the world as well as LATAM does. We operated nine direct flights between Brazil and Santiago, Miami, and Lima last year. The flights were very well connected, and had great schedules for leisure and business passengers.
LATAM is launching new routes from Florianópolis and Curitiba to Santiago de Chile, as well as strengthening the well-established routes from São Paulo Guarulhos and Rio de Janeiro.
The US airline LATAM recently launched a seasonal route between Miami and Fortaleza, as well as increasing flights from São Paulo Guarulhos. Additionally, LATAM has launched direct flights to Lima from Rio de Janeiro Galeão International and Porto Alegre. These changes aim to strengthen Lima’s connection with Guarulhos.
LATAM Airlines offers a total of 113 weekly flights to three international destinations, according to data from Cirium.
Other international destinations for LATAM Brasil
According to data from Cirium, LATAM operates 256 weekly international flights from six Brazilian airports. The airline offers 29 international routes from these airports.
LATAM Brasil plans to fly to 21 international airports by January 2023. This year, LATAM will resume service between Sao Paulo and Johannesburg, which was temporarily paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, LATAM Brasil will begin operations between Sao Paulo and Los Angeles, the first route launched under the scope of the company’s Joint Venture Agreement with Delta Air Lines.

LATAM Brasil is the top airline in Brazil, and it helped the country handle 88 million passengers through November 2022. LATAM Brasil had a market share of 31.92% in Brazil as of November 2022. Compared to 2019, the airline recovered 84.6% of its pre-pandemic traffic levels.
