After launching its first A320neo in November 2016, Avianca Brasil has just started operations on its second model, the most advanced in the category. The company arrives, with the new jet, to a total of 44 units, all of the manufacturer Airbus.
The news helps the company maintain the brand of the youngest middle-aged aircraft among the Latin American operators, following on to the permanent renewal plan of the fleet, says Frederico Pedreira, president of Avianca Brasil. “Our goal is to use it as a flagship in the next few years to continue offering the best product in Brazilian commercial aviation,” he added, predicting that other model aircraft will be received throughout 2017.
The A320neo features advanced technologies such as the LEAP-1A CFM International engine, which produces on average 50% less noise and saves 15% of fuel. Equipped with the Space Flex cab, the aircraft is configured with 165 seats.
