Azul Airlines started on Saturday March 25, the operation of two flights linking Recife to the cities of Rosario and Cordoba in Argentina. Directly, the routes have weekly frequency, departing from the capital of Pernambuco always on Saturdays.
Flights to Rosario depart at 10:10 am from Recife, arriving at the Argentine city of Rosario around 4:25 pm. Those arriving to Cordoba depart from the capital of Pernambuco at 10:45 am, expected to arrive at 4:45 pm. Recife is Azul's hub in the Northeast and counts on flights to 24 national destinations, besides Orlando, in the United States. Direct flights to Orlando began in December 2016, operating on Wednesdays and Sundays. During holiday periods, the company even increases its weekly frequency. In the second half of 2017, Azul inaugurated the flights to Jericoara, in Ceara. The company has already announced that, starting in July this year, it will also offer 15 weekly flights to the cities of Manaus (AM), Curitiba (PR) and Cuiabá (MT).
