Gol Airlines and Delta celebrate the results of 20 months of strategic alliance. Currently, the Brazilian company offers its passengers access to five markets that Delta serves between the United States and Brazil, with flights Brasilia-Atlanta, Atlanta-Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo-Atlanta, Detroit and New York / JFK. In addition, customers of Gol from Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Goiania and Porto Alegre have access to Atlanta and soon also to Detroit and New York. Passengers traveling with Gol will see the American company logo and the phrase “in partnership with Delta” next to the aircraft boarding gate. Another milestone of the alliance is local sharing. Last April, Delta moved operations to Terminal 2, C wing of the Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo. The goal is to facilitate connectivity and dispatch process of luggage after customs clearance, since the counters of Gol are located immediately after leaving the customs control area.
