The new route is part of an expansion plan focused on leisure traffic with the objective of increasing its share of business passengers who are increasingly traveling internationally during their vacations. The additional flight operates on Saturdays and Sundays departing Brasilia at 2:00 p.m., arriving in Orlando at 7:45 p.m., as well as departs Orlando at 8:40 a.m., arriving in Brasilia at 2:35 p.m..
Within one month since commencing operations between cities, GOL received more than 10,000 reservations on this new flight segment with availability still remaining for the rest of 2019
GOL’s new flight to Orlando departs Brasilia at 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday and arrives in Orlando at 6:05 a.m. on Thursday, departing Orlando at 7:55 a.m. and arriving back in Brasilia at 7:15 p.m., all local times, allowing for easy connections to more than 50 U.S. cities, especially Chicago, New York, and Washington D.C., where GOL also operates routes from Brasilia and 9 other Brazilian cities
With the expansion of GOL’s fleet and the addition of new planes such as the Boeing 737 MAX 8 (which has been chosen by eight airlines around the world including American Airlines), more seats are available for passengers looking to fly between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Brazil’s capital city – Brasilia International Airport (BSB).
