Azul to start new direct flight Orlando to Belo Horizonte

Azul Airlines announced a new international route from Orlando to Belo Horizonte due to start November 16. Nowdays, the company only has international flights from Campinas, to Orlando and to Fort Lauderdale, also in Florida.

“Confins airport in Belo Horizonte is our second largest hub. With direct flights to Orlando we will connect even more Brazilian cities to the United States, very conveniently, “said Marcelo Bento, director of Planning and Alliances for Azul.

The flights will be operated on Airbus A330 jets, which will undergo a process of modernization (or retrofit on the industry jargon). The company says the jets to operate the route out of Minas Gerais have already received the new interior.

The company plans to offer the new flight to Orlando for customers in over 20 cities: Altamira, Belem, Porto Seguro, Brasilia, Sao Paulo (Congonhas), Fortaleza, Sao Paulo (Guarulhos), Governador Valadares, Goiania, Imperatriz, Ilheus, Ipatinga , Montes Claros, Natal, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro (Santos Dumont), Sao Luis, Salvador, Teixeira de Freitas, Uberaba, Uberlandia, Campinas, Vitoria da Conquista and Vitoria.
