The President of GOL Airlines, Paulo Sérgio Kakinoff reiterated that the company negotiates partnerships with European companies and a deal could be announced by the end of the year.
“We have three more European companies with which we are holding advanced negotiations regarding possible partnerships”.
According to him, the partnerships have been traded in three levels. The first would be an interline agreement, in which companies work together to make the distribution of passengers, not necessarily sharing flight codes.
“GOL has signed several agreements in this model,” explained Kakinoff, citing the agreement with TAP. The second is to codeshare with Alitalia recently established, and the third is a similar arrangement with the Delta, which provides for exclusivity in the region.
