From 4 to 8 September, GOL Linhas Aéreas will provide 84 extra flights to meet the increased demand during the Independence Day holiday, celebrated on September 7. The main highlight is the route between Brasilia, the Federal District, and Aracaju, in Sergipe, created exclusively for the period.
In total, the company will offer more than ten thousand additional seating for 17 cities with much of the Departures from Sao Paulo (Guarulhos and Viracopos Airport), Rio de Janeiro (RIO Galeão), Confins (Minas Gerais) and Porto Alegre (Rio Grande do Sul), to the main capitals of the Northeast, such as Salvador (BA), Maceió (AL), Recife (PE) and Natal (RN).
“The addition of operations during the holiday weekend fulfills the company’s mission to unite people and reduce distances and better serve our customers traveling to rest on tourist sites,” said Eduardo Wakami, GOL’s executive manager of Planning.
Travel will be held on Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircrafts, with the largest number of seats with the “A” rating for comfort by ANAC.
