LATAM Airlines Group has decided to significantly reduce the number of its Airbus A350 XWB aircraft order, since the worldwide crisis hit all carriers.

On late February, the Chilean carrier with most of its operation outside of Chile, had an order for 25 units of the A350 XWB aircraft. However, this number has been cut to just 15.

According to the European Airbus’s order log,  LATAM had its A350 orders split between 17 units of the 900 Model,  and 8 of the larger 1000 model. That number dropped by ten units in March.
