Both Brazilian Airlines announced a codeshare agreement, sharing the same flight to connect their domestic routes. Azul and Latam also signed an agreement involving their fidelity programs.
The codeshare agreement starts with 50 domestic routes from/to the following destinations: Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Recife, Porto Alegre, Campinas, Curitiba, Guarulhos. Passengers will benefit from this partnership having more connecting flights available. Both 12 million clients from Tudo Azul and 37 million from Latam Pass will be able to choose in which program to accrue their miles.
Both companies understand the present crises and see the code share implementation as an innovation that will help to boost the local economy.
