Azul Airlines announced on March 26 the plan to increase its flights in 35 cities in the coming years, in Brazil and abroad. In a statement to the market, the group said that on Saturday, started flights in Rosario and Cordoba, Argentina. In addition, the company will have the next Santa Cruz de la Sierra destinations in Bolivia, and the Brazilian cities of Caruaru, Mossoro, Serra Talhada, Guarapuava, Toledo, Umuarama and Pato Branco. The airline also stated that the projection for this year is eight to ten new Brazilian destinations and that most of the new flights will be ATR 72-600, for up to 70 customers. The ATR 72 is a twin-engine turboprop, short-haul regional airliner developed and produced in France and Italy by aircraft manufacturer ATR.
