Great new for passengers flying from Brazil to U.S. cities and vice versa, GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes just announced the launch of non stop direct flight from Brazil to major U.S. destinations. The flight will operate from Miami and Orlando from Fortaleza and Brasilia on coming November 4, 2018, for this GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes will use Boeing 737 Max 8 jets on the route of Fortaleza in northeastern Brazil and from the capital Brasilia to Miami and Orlando.

Eduardo Bernard’s GOL’s Sales and Marketing Vice President stated “our launch of direct flight to the U.S. marks a new era for GOL, as we expand our international operations beyond Latin America, over the past 17 years we are Brazil’s largest aviation company, we have been leaders in punctuality and customer satisfactions. we are now looking to replicate the success in the market abroad, where we see significant opportunities for growth.”

It is estimated that new Florida route will have 4 daily flights from Brasilia and Fortaleza in  Brasil. The main aim behind launching flights on this route is to connect customers directly to major Latin American destinations.

GOL’s existing stack holder Delta airline will also allow new flight to serve 8 major cities including Atlanta, Salt lake city, Cincinnati, New York, LaGuardia, Detroit, Los Angeles, Indianapolis and Minneapolis.

GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes will use Boeing 737 Max 8 jets, like southwestern airlines use to do in The U.S., the aircraft is equipped with 135 Boeing fleet with an order of 135 Boeing Max aircraft, which are expected to be delivered by 2028. GOL is already proud owner of Brazil’s newest and most modern air fleet. The delivery of 105 Boeing 737 Max 8 and 30 Boeing 737 Max 10 will maintain competitive advantage, and allow to expand its operation with more long haul flights.

The first 3 aircraft’s were deliver to GOL between June and October 2018, and they are already operating and taking the passengers to their destinations. Reportedly, the company will add more Max 8 jets by the end of 2018. Renewing the fleet will replace the old aircraft.

Richard Lark GOL’s Chief Financial officer stated ” The Boeing 737 Max 8 was developed by the North American manufacturer with the help of GOL’s pilots, engineers and technicians. The new aircraft are equipped with state of the art technology, offering the best operational performance and a range of over 4,000 miles, enabling GOL to fly to new destinations. Among other improvement and innovations, the Boeing 737 MAX 8 also has reduced fuel consumption and lower emission which is necessary to save environment.

Traveling in new Boeing aircraft will be a new experience for customers. along with this the aircraft is decked up with new LED lighting system and more overhead storage capacity, leather seats are introduced for more comfort, the aircraft is also equipped with an antenna to enable internet connection during flights along with free access to entertainment platforms like TV, movies etc.

On the other hand 737 Max 10 aircraft will accommodate 30 additional  passengers as compared to MAX 8 which only accommodate up to 186 passengers. This increment will give GOL more benefits over long term cost,  as MAX 10 has lowest cost per seat as compare to any aircraft operating in market. MAX 10, is expected to take its first fly in 2022.
