Eight hotel entities gathered with the aim of debating and establish standards and protocols for hygiene and safety for guests and employees. It is called the Movement of Safe Hospitality, a document that started through bench-marking research and good practices in the national and international scenario.
The document was taking into consideration several types and sizes of hotels developments, as well as basic measures to enforce the prevention and health in regards to Covid-19, such as social distance, personal hygiene, sanitizing methods, protocols communication and guidance. Protocols must be followed as much as possible whole the pandemic lasts, following orientations of the local authorities in charge of the Covid-19 control.
The manual was validated by the Tourism Ministry and Anvisa and was supported by several tourism entities.
