TAM Airlines kept its first position in the Brazilian airline market in May with 39.8% market share, according to data released today by ABEAR (Brazilian Association of Airline companies).

GOL Airlines for the period had a 35.5% market share. The five members of ABEAR increased the offer of seat/km in 1.49%, and the passenger/km in 3.89%. Compared to the same period in 2012, demand increased from 6.2 million passengers to 6.98 million.
