AZUL Airlines submitted to the Securities Commission (CVM) applications for company registration and registration of public offering of preferred shares on the last Friday (24th). The company stated that will keep the market informed of the terms and conditions applicable , by publication of a Notice to the Market.

Today, the company celebrates a year of the merge agreement with Trip Airlines, which resulted in the third largest Brazilian airline. Currently, the company owns fleet of 118 aircraft, operating in 103 destinations, over 799 flights daily. Employs more than nine thousand people and, according to ANAC, holds 16.7% of domestic market share.

To symbolize the union, an aircraft was painted especially with elements of the brand Trip and brand new company. Dubbed the “Spirit of Union”, the E-195 jet, registration PR-AXV, was delivered today during a ceremony held at Embraer in São José dos Campos. “This is a special aircraft for us.
