Latam Airlines announced flight to Boston (USA) and Rome (Italy) departing from Sao Paulo (Guarulhos Airport) will resume in July. With these most recent additions, Latam will have restored operations to all United States and Europe destinations that were disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The São Paulo-Boston route will resume July 1 and will operate three times weekly using a Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with capacity for 270 passengers in the Economy cabin and 30 passengers in Premium Business cabin. The São Paulo-Rome route will resume July 9 and will also operate three times weekly using a Boeing 777-300 aircraft configured for 372 seats in Economy and 38 seats in Premium Business.
Latam Airlines Group has continued to strengthen security measures since the pandemic began, following recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and the health authorities of the countries where it operates.
